E-Mail Fraud Alert
Please note that First National Bank of Florida will never request any personal information such as user names, passwords, pin numbers, account numbers, etc. via e-mail. If you receive an e-mail appearing to have been sent from First National Bank of Florida seeking account information, please do not reply, do not click on any link or change the e-mail in any way. We ask that you please forward the e-mail to fraudulent@fnbfla.com and delete the original message. No legitimate company will ever ask for such information through e-mail. Many of the scams attempt to alarm you by stating that you have already been a victim of identity theft, or that your account with them will be cancelled unless you verify your information. The links provided in the e-mail look legitimate, but they are not. The phone numbers provided in the e-mails sound like you are calling the company, but you are not. The best way to ensure that you are not a victim of a fraudulent e-mail is to immediately call the company represented using the phone number found on your statement or a number that you look up in the phone book. |
